What we keep
Small browser records (cookies) and storage on this device (local storage) are used. Login records beginning wordpress_logged_in_, wordpress_sec_ and wordpress_ usually last for the session, or about 14 days with Remember me. wordpress_test_cookie lasts for the login-check session. WordPress choices beginning wp-settings- and wp-settings-time- usually last one year. Hosting can change these periods.
ahkp_preferences remembers Accept/Reject and categories for 365 days. ah-reading-size stores reading size until you remove it. Only permission allows ah-workspace-v2 layout reads and writes. With Reject, layout lives in the open page's memory and reopening restores defaults. Account Saved Views are separate.
The active examination uses a random jrl-exam-session token in sessionStorage for resuming after reload. The token contains no questions, answers or answer keys.
Why
These maintain login, security, reading size and your choices. Public profiles, cards and QR generation add no browser storage or external tracking. QR generation happens here. Protected network-address identifiers used to limit requests live on the server, not in the browser.
This is necessary active-attempt security, separate from optional Workspace layout permission. A browser lock, where supported, prevents a second tab using the same attempt.
How long
Periods appear above. The new request-limit identifier normally lasts two minutes and contains no plain network address. A page security number is not browser storage and is normally valid for up to a day.
The token lasts until the tab/session closes or sessionStorage is cleared. Clearing it prevents resuming that active session; the server deadline still runs.
Who can see it
These records are used by this site and your browser. Administrators can see server login/security records. Existing main pages fetch Google fonts and enabled security checks use Cloudflare; those services may receive network address and browser details.
It is used by this site and your browser. Gateway checkout is loaded only when payments are enabled and may use provider browser records. Payments are OFF in this release.
The Prashna page keeps the last selected place and coordinates in this tab’s sessionStorage for subsequent calculations. Closing the tab session or clearing that storage removes the copy. It does not store the question text there. Text size uses the existing device preference. Current location is requested only after you select its button and grant the browser permission; otherwise use place search.
Your rights
Change Accept/Reject through Cookie choices or remove records in your browser. Disabling necessary login/security records may prevent login. Withdrawing optional layout permission stops future reads and writes. Remove account Saved Views through My data.
You may clear sessionStorage. That cannot extend the timer; saved answers remain for their stated server retention.
