What we keep
Accounts contain email, login name, profile name and type, a protected password, an adult/minor declaration and an optional photo. We do not ask for full birth date for the age declaration. Older mobile records may contain confirmed phone details; that feature is now disabled. Successful chart calculations are saved automatically: name, birth date/time, place, coordinates, time zone, settings and results, questions, notes and groups. Saved layouts and their previous revision also remain. Supply only information you are entitled to store.
With permission, the layout stays in your browser. Reading size is a necessary accessibility setting. Separate activity permission records visit start, latest activity and active time. Earlier activity can remain until account deletion.
A separate public-profile choice stores chosen name, study subject, city/state, languages, bio, up to three links and an optional photo. No address, phone or email is displayed publicly. We also retain publication decisions, reasons, page names and reports.
Distinct-chart usage uses a protected account-linked identifier made from planetary positions, without client names or birth dates. At most 200 new charts per account per day count. This indicates usage, not qualifications. Separate choices may show an exact count and active months derived from existing activity. No individual chart time is recorded, so its median is unavailable.
A contribution card stores chosen name, random link, issue/expiry dates, related research consent and status. Its photo needs a separate choice. It is not identification or a certificate.
Examinations keep questions, selected options, your answers and timestamps, authoritative deadlines, results and topic summaries, research submissions and private rubric reviews. Name publication and credential badges have separate consent. Launch notification stores only email, separate consent, notice version and confirmation. Payments, when enabled, keep provider order/status, buyer name/state and invoices; card or UPI details never reach our server.
Why
We use these records to operate accounts, reopen charts, honour choices, show usage tiers, offer optional public pages/cards and review reports. Research and email-update choices are separate and optional. Declining research does not reduce features or daily limits. This release sends no marketing email.
Research uses selected planetary positions and birth year, without names, emails, full birth date/place or coordinates. Distinctive positions may still be matched to a person; complete anonymity is not guaranteed. A private account link allows removal. Research data is not sold or given to advertisers.
For examinations, private JRL certification, your results and data rights. No camera, microphone or screen recording. Basic integrity uses randomized question/option order, a server timer, one attempt session and timestamped answers. Notification email has no other use.
How long
Accounts, charts, saved layouts, activity, usage counts, profiles, card history, reports and consent history remain until permanent account deletion. Falit does not retain raw chart facts. A temporary response copy lasts 10 minutes; rapid-request protection at most 15 minutes; security proof 30 minutes; Falit usage counts 90 days. Protected public-request counters normally last two minutes. Cards normally last 12 months; the operator can change the duration. Hosting backup and server-record periods depend on the host; this tool does not erase them.
Results, answers and research submissions default to three years, adjustable by the operator. Account purge deletes these and linked orders/invoices. The credential register retains only serial, level, dates and status without name or account link; private reasons are cleared. Non-identifying pass/fail totals may remain. Pending notification confirmation expires after one day; confirmed permission remains until withdrawal.
Who can see it
You can see your information. Administrators can see account, chart, usage, consent, profile, card and report records. A public profile requires an eligible adult astrologer, confirmed email, current Terms, your choice and publication. Search engines are blocked by default and require another choice. Anyone with a card link can see chosen name, status and dates, with a separately chosen photo. No government or professional endorsement is given.
Existing main screens fetch fonts from Google, which can receive network address and browser details. Enabled security checks use Cloudflare. Mail uses the selected mail provider. Public pages/cards add no external font source, tracking or QR service. Legacy AI and mobile confirmation paths are disabled.
Clients receive only their active attempt questions, without correct answers before submission. Administrators can access the private bank and research reviews. Public status links show only separately consented name, level, issue date, serial and status, without email, score or photo.
Prashna question text and location remain in the browser. Rule evaluation sends only whitelisted chart facts, without name, place, coordinates, date or question text. Explicit saving to My Charts uses the existing private chart record for name, moment, location and question. A separate daily rule-evaluation count links to your account and Indian calendar date and uses the normal usage-count retention. Identical-facts responses are cached for ten minutes; account purge removes linked counts and cache entries. This release collects no Prashna research contribution.
Your rights
My data lets you download a copy, correct information, remove a photo or request deletion. You can cancel within 7 days. Permanent deletion removes charts, layouts, activity, consents, research, profiles, cards and related reports. Only event name and time remain without account identity. Earlier temporary copies may last until their short expiry.
Withdrawing public-profile permission closes the page and removes it from our search list immediately. Withdrawing search permission adds search-blocking instructions. Withdrawing card-name permission closes its link. Withdrawing research stops new contributions, immediately removes active research records and changes existing cards to Withdrawn. Copies already taken by others or search engines cannot be recalled. Minors cannot join research, marketing, public profiles or cards; full parental verification is not available.
Use My exams to withdraw name/badge permission or request correction. My data includes attempts, answers, research PDF, results, consents and invoices. Request account deletion there. The notification email offers one-click withdrawal.
