Research consent

What we keep

We take planetary positions and birth year from a selected saved chart, without name, email, full birth date/place or coordinates. A private account link supports removal, and consent version/time is kept. Positions may be distinctive; complete anonymity is not guaranteed.

Why

This is voluntary research into JRL astrological rules. Records are not sold or shared with advertisers. Consent starts unticked. Declining reduces neither features nor daily limits. Only email-confirmed adults may participate. After consenting, separately choose and submit a chart; collection is not automatic.

Active consent and a minimum contribution count can give a JRL Research Contributor badge. The initial threshold is 10 and the operator may change it. This establishes no qualifications. A card requires a separate choice to make its chosen name public; photo and public astrologer pages are separate options.

How long

Active research stays until withdrawal. Consent history stays until account deletion. Cards normally last 12 months; the operator may change this.

Who can see it

Research records are used by the operator/authorized research. Published profiles show the badge and consent status, without individual research charts. Card-link visitors see only chosen name, status, issue/expiry dates and a separately chosen photo.

Your rights

Withdraw any time in My consents. New contribution stops and active records are removed immediately; the stated maximum is 30 days. The badge disappears and existing cards show Withdrawn. Regeneration immediately closes the old link. Withdrawing card-name permission or permanent account deletion returns Not found. Rejoining research does not reactivate old cards. My data offers a copy or deletion request. Public copies cannot be recalled.
